The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Philippine General Hospital is delighted to invite you to its annual postgraduate course, PUSH 2025 or Patient-centered Universal Scientific Healthcare for Women. This is the 7th year since we have taken on the brand PUSH for our postgraduate course which reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing evidence-based, patient-centered care in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. This will be held at the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel on June 4 to 6, 2025.

We take on the theme “Promoting Unified Standards in Healthcare Through OB-GYN Guidelines.” We highlight the crucial role of evidence-based, standardized protocols in ensuring the highest quality of care for women. In a field as dynamic and evolving as obstetrics and gynecology, aligning our practices with the latest guidelines is essential in delivering consistent, safe, and effective patient care. 

My journey with our department’s postgraduate course began more than two decades ago when as a resident, I became part of almost all the working committees in various capacities,  from the audio-visual team or what we now know as Physical Arrangements Committee, Ways and Means and the Documentations Committees contributing to its organization and witnessing its growth and development over the years. Now, as a faculty member and the Overall Chair of PUSH 2025, I have come full circle, leading an event that has been instrumental in shaping the careers of many OB-GYN practitioners. It is both an honor and a privilege to continue this tradition of excellence and knowledge-sharing, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of women’s healthcare.
